•  Every year there is around 1.5 million abortions in Vietnam.
• Approximately 40% of all pregnancies end in abortion. That’s a baby every 20 seconds aborted, 4000 babies every day!
• Vietnam has the highest rate of abortion in South East Asia, within the top five of the world.

• On average every woman of reproductive age undergoes 2.5 abortions. Of this high number of abortions it is estimated that one in four of these procedures is classified as unsafe causing the death of one woman every week.

Hope United is committed to reducing the rate of abortion and providing a place of refuge & safety for young women and their babies. We have a passion to be part of the solution by providing not only accommodation, but love, support, care, education and assistance to women in crisis.

It was from this passion that LifeHouse was born.

Hope United through LifeHouse provide a safe and healthy environment for women in crisis throughout pregnancy, birth and the early months of motherhood.

Many of the women arrive at LifeHouse because their partners, husbands, families and friends have rejected them and their choice not to abort. For many women in Vietnam, without a safe place to turn, abortion is their only option.

Hope United supports these women by playing a key role in providing health, safety and education as they navigate this new season of life.
